The Rights of Man

After taking up the fiddle as a mid-life crisis (especially for everyone in my family that had to listen to me!) I discovered Irish music. It was a whole new world for me. Tons of great tunes that I had never heard before. Over the years these tunes have been slowly leaking into the Bluegrass genre. Here is The Rights of Man arranged melodic style and an octave higher using a single string technique. The single string is more reminiscent of the Irish tenor banjo style. Sometimes it is dif.cult to get the actual melody in melodic style but single string playing you are not restricted as much by open strings and positions. Have fun with these two breaks. It takes a little practice to get the triplets in the .rst measure but it's worth it.
